A good general rule of what should be on your business card is:

• Your Business Name: Present your business name at the top of the card, so the reader will notice it first. Branding is the most important part of marketing your business.
• What you do: More than likely, the person reading your card probably already knows what you do. However, it’s still a good idea to add a slogan below your business name that quickly states your services. Make sure not to over emphasize, just a quick reference.
• A means to contact you: Provide easy ways for someone to get in touch. Phone, email, and most importantly, your website address. People love websites nowadays because it gives them a way to do their own research on your company. Make sure your testimonials are perfectly put together and easy to find. Also make sure that your website has lead generation build into it. If the reader would prefer to use a contact system from your website, you should allow them to do that. If you’re considering allowing online payments, make sure it’s simple and easy for someone to checkout, because if it’s overly complicated then you will lose sales.
• Business Address: It’s always a good idea to put the address of your business. If you are a local business, the benefits of including your address are obvious. However, even businesses that work with clients all over the world can build trust and confidence in their customers by providing your address. Customers like to see a business that clearly advertises their phone number and address.
• Spice it up: Don’t forget to make it look attractive. You can spice up a business card with a logo or a simple design. Business cards can look more presentable when you emphasize the corners or just the top and bottom, so providing a border can be a good thing. The design can be the focal point of the card, or your information can be the main attraction. Either approach can work well and be just as effective.

The “competition” section on this tool is not so reliable though, so don’t count on its findings. This tool is mainly for giving you a better idea on what keywords your customers are searching on Google. You can also check if the city your business is based in is receiving any searches.

We have also invested into a tool that checks our clients’ rankings on Google in the click of a button. We simply type in the website address and instantly get to view their rankings. It shows the keyword phrase, the number of searches that keyword phrase receives per month, and a number that represents the rank of the website. For instance, if the number is “18,” then that tells us the website ranks on the 2nd page of Google for that keyword, because there are 10 results per page. This tool comes in handy in many occasions. We use it every month to evaluate our progress on keywords and see how we can improve the ranking.
